Thursday, November 3rd, 2011Interesting – I was programming a wide website and it was giving me some horizontal scrolling on my ipad – which I did not want. Did you know that you can specify the viewing width of a site for the ipad? It’s pretty cool. Put this in the head section: meta name=”viewport” content=”width=1440″ So since my website is 1440 wide, this will make it all fit within the ipad screen.

pk-30 system – site update!

We replaced a flash menu with a slick jquery accordian style menu as well as did many other updates to the site. As you may know, flash does not show up on the ipad or different phones. While we did not originally design it, we are more than happy to work on existing sites for clients. We worked within their existing framework and code. It can be fun figuring out existing code (if it is done well, that is!!) We will also be doing some search engine optimization in the near future. Thanks for the opportunity!

they are adding more products shortly. it’s got a simple sophisticated look and feel to it. those zen cart sites are mucho work – lots of modifications have to be done to them to get them to look attractive. On the plus side, as an ecommerce package, zen-cart is very robust, offers a lot of options, add-ons from the open source community and has a great administration panel for adding products, etc.
