The Hudson Valley Artists Hurricane Relief Project is a collective of some of the Hudson Valley’s most illustrious and talented musical artists in a fund raising effort. Sponsored by Soundscape Presents, a non-profit 501c3, all the artists have contributed their original works for the sole purpose of raising money to help the thousands of people that are still struggling to recover and rebuild their lives in the devastating aftermath of the 2011 Hurricane Irene and subsequent tropical storms.

Specifying Ipad Display Width for Website

Interesting – I was programming a wide website and it was giving me some horizontal scrolling on my ipad – which I did not want. Did you know that you can specify the viewing width of a site for the ipad? It’s pretty cool. Put this in the head section: meta name=”viewport” content=”width=1440″ So since my website is 1440 wide, this will make it all fit within the ipad screen.

Silverpop for html email marketing

We’ve been designing and programming a lot of html emails for clients these days! We really enjoy doing this. Most recently we’ve a few clients using a system called Silverpop. It appears that Silverpop is often used by the larger corporate clients interested in tracking email information, reporting and so forth. Our smaller clients use Constant Contact which works well for their needs.

we recently finished a wordpress conversion of the holycrossmonastery.com site. Now they can do their own updates! We pretty much kept the exact same layout as that was what they wanted. It looks and works great.
